Living in Stowe, Vermont is a lot like living in any home town, with local sports being a big part of the lifestyle. Families look for T-Ball, Little League, soccer and of course, junior high and high school sports. What is sport organizations are in Stowe, Vermont? Are their sport opportunities for adults? Is there a parks and recreation department in Stowe?

Sports if the name of the game in a resort area. We have year round programs for kids in every sport you can think of as well as adult organized sports in softball, ice hockey, field hockey, lacrosse, rugby, skiing races, tennis & golf plus others. In the summer men’s & ladies nights at the golf and tennis clubs occur every week, softball has men’s leagues and mixed leagues and generally play Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays. As a little league softball coach for 20 years, high school softball & basketball coach for about 10 years I can tell you that Stowe has outstanding high school teams, 13 state titles in field hockey, tennis, both boys & girls have won most of the state titles the last 7 years, as well as state championships in other sports many times over the last 25 years.
